SupportPlus: OS Migration

Traditionally, when a new operating system is released or you decide that you would like to upgrade some or all of your machines, it can take weeks, months or sometimes even years to get the Operating system tested and deployed to all machines within your organisation.

SSIL's Operating System deployment and Profile Migration service allows us to manage this process for you. Using our targeted distribution technology we can distribute the operating system, and any required applications whilst retaining end-user profile data. We will test, plan and deploy the operating system to machines using a phased rollout approach ensuring minimal disruption is caused to your organisation.

  • Identify any machines that do not meet the system requirements for the new operating system
  • Test your software applications on the new operating system
  • Develop a phased deployment plan that allows us to deploy the operating system to you with minimal disruption to your network
